Our leaders in this painting adventure, Dennis, Jame's dad, and his friend Gary, have taken us from over 12 possible paint choices down to the blue/gray one shown in a previous blog. Ally and her friend Sampson help as much as they can and Jame and I are just trying to keep up. (modestly, I think I might be the best stump, digger-upper I've ever known ) :o)- I made the guys step aside so it would appear like I am doing it solo....but it looked pretty impressive huh?!!

The gown

After much ado, I have finally ordered my gown. It was a mini fiasco involving child labor in china, highwater dresses, and being chased by old ladies in bridal shops but it is finally ordered and it's gorgeous!! The perfect mix of simple with a tiny bit of "ooh I feel special" I am really excited and can't wait to see the whole wedding day picture!!! (now if I could only get the groom to wear a jacket:o) Then again, he's so cute, he could wear a burlap sack and still be the most handsome man there.... awwwww, )

We are still working on the house. It will be an ongoing project but the transformation is coming along. Dennis and Gary are pouring their love and sweat into our siding! (no tears as of yet, we'll save that for the wedding day itself) I have pictures but I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off and will have to save it for a quiet moment.

We recently celebrated our "break up" anniversary. For those that don't know, we had been dating for 4 years but felt like we were not at the same place in our lives. We decided to separate. This only lasted 6 months, in which God did some talking and moving in both of our lives. We were back together for two months when he proposed on a vacation we took to England. It is amazing how much has changed in a year! we sat with a sack lunch and thought back. It was kinda cheesy and I'm sure he thinks I'm crazy but It was nice to sit in the moment and thank God for all He's done in our lives in such a short time.
